Author Guidelines

Texts should follow the MLA format described in the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers. Third Edition. New York: The Modern Language Association of America, 1988, section “Documenting Sources – Parenthetical documentation and the list of works cited,” pp. 155-79.

Manuscripts should not have been published previously (except for an abstract, lecture, personal announcement, thesis), and should not be submitted simultaneously for publication in another journal or medium.

It is suggested that English or French be used for the submission; occasionally, and for special reasons only, articles will be accepted in German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish.

Preference will be given to manuscripts of 6000 to 7500 words, but the editor will consider a limited number of substantial studies.

MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers. 3rd Edition. (New York: The Modern Language Association of America, 1988). Voir surtout la section intitulée: “Documenting Sources – Parenthetical Documentation and the List of Works Cited,” pp. 155-79.
