Klaus Mainzer

Klaus Mainzer is Director of the Carl von Linde‐Academy, and Chair for Philosophy and Technology at the Institute of Advanced Study at the Technical University of Munich. Since 1996 he has been President of the German Society of Complex Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics. He is author or co-author of over two dozen books, in German or English, on mathematics, philosophy, physics, the history of science, artificial intelligence, and communication technology. Many of his books are translated into other languages. His book Thinking in Complexity is now in its 5th (enlarged) edition.
