Gert Biesta is Professor of Education and Director of Research at the School of Education, University of Stirling, UK, where he also co-directs the School’s Laboratory for Educational Theory. His work focuses on the theory and philosophy of education, questions of citizenship and democracy, and the theory and philosophy of educational research (see www.gertbiesta.com).
