Author Biography

C(h)ris Reyns-Chikuma, University of Alberta

Chris Reyns-Chikuma is Professor of French and Francophone Cultural Studies in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of Alberta. After completing an M.A in Japanese Studies, a PH.D on Holocaust literature, and a book on “Néo-japonisme in France,” he started to work more and more on Bande Dessinée”/Comics/Manga. His recent research centres around [non-]diversity in the BD world.
