Michelle Hay, Memorial University of Newfoundland

Michelle Hay is an M.A. student in the Department of Sociology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her research interests include environmental sociology, food security, and policy formation and analysis.

Mark CJ Stoddart, Memorial University of Newfoundland

Dr. Mark C.J. Stoddart is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Memorial University. His areas of interest include environmental sociology, social movements, and communications and culture. He is the author of Making Meaning out of Mountains: The Political Ecology of Skiing (UBC Press), and his research has recently appeared in Interface, Organization and Environment, and the Canadian Journal of Sociology.
