Focus and Scope
The focus and scope of the journal comprises of anything sociological, that is presenting scholarly research with a sociological perspective. This does not completely exclude perspectives of other disciplines; sociology is a very broad and overlapping field and submissions with overlapping perspectives will be accepted.

Peer Review Process
Invoke is run on a peer review system. This means that submissions made to the journal will be reviewed by at least two reviewers for publication. Reviewers will judge submissions on a three point scale: publish with minor or no changes, publish with changes, and do not publish. Reviewers will have approximately two weeks to review submissions which will be given to both the Editors and the Author. Once reviews have been completed, manuscripts that were successful in meeting the critrea for the journal (i.e. publish with minor or no changes) will be reviewed by Editors and final decisions on publication will be made.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published two times a year.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
