Discusses the portrayal of China and Chinese culture in Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as "the conglomerate Chinese culture that derived from the wuxia genre of popular culture, fantasies of gravity-less martial capabilities, and a landscape of varied geography and blurred ethnicities."
