La langue française dans la presse du Burkina Faso
Many questions arise from the analysis of French in the francophone press. In particular, this is the case of the African press. If sometimes we may find new forms and revolutionary changes, in other cases we may discover a freedom whose reasons are difficult to understand. This is the reason why we will study the importance of this second yet official language, in order to define its evolution in some contexts where it has to co-exist with other ethnical languages with multiple aspects and varieties, too. After an essay on the Ivorian press and another on the Togolese press, this third study is devoted to the lexicon and the morphosyntax of the Burkinabe press. Meanwhile, we will try to verify which trends are nowadays dominating in this particular field of study. Finally, this project illustrates the vitality and the richness of French in a French-speaking country.
