Trajectoires éditoriales de la littérature francophone vietnamienne
The editorial system is an indispensable actor in the literary life. It represents a complex process to which most literary works are confronted to be recognized by the public. What are the status and function of this actor’s activities for the Vietnamese Francophone literature? The answer is far from precise and even more difficult now that we are trying to highlight the situation of Vietnamese literary productions in the Francophone world. So, we should not be surprised to find no comment on the French edition in Vietnam in the recent and important study of Luc Pinhas, Éditer dans l'espace francophone (2005), while Vietnam is officially part of forty nine member states and governments of the Francophonie. In fact, in search of recognition, the Vietnamese literary works have shown, in the same way as the status of their authors, their ambiguity and uncertainty. It is indeed difficult to establish a history of the editorial system in Vietnam. It will be necessary to observe the influence of the historical and political movements on the area of production and marketing of the French book. To determine the reality of the issue, we try will to present first the editorial situation during the French colonial period and then during the period of independence until today.
